My husband and I were married here on December 6, 2025. We initially worked with Seth and Natashia, but after they both left, we were reassigned to Sharron. Unfortunately, communication became very poor at that point. Our contract was changed without our knowledge, and we had to rely on the original printed copy we signed to correct charges that had been increased. On the day of the wedding, everything went fairly smoothly overall. However, we brought in my aunt, who has event planning experience, because we didn’t feel confident in Maridor’s organization and communication. In hindsight, while the venue itself was beautiful, it’s disappointing that the management lacked strong communication and organizational skills. This made the wedding planning process far more stressful than it should have been.

I had lunch here with a group of 60+. The staff was excellent - friendly, competent. The interior is beautiful and perfect for a group gathering. The exterior is getting a little sad, though - a hole in the front screen door, peeling paint. It's still a very nice place.

I visited my friend who lives up the street and she mentioned having been to the Maridor before and she suggested we have dinner and drinks there. So we did! We enjoyed items from the omakase menu and were not disappointed. We also shared some crab rangoons and the maple bacon flatbread and all the food wad delicious. The house itself is just a beautiful setting. We decided to have dinner on the back patio and it was a great space. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a space to anyone who enjoys an intimate setting and great food.
